Certified Flight Instructor

Job Description:
As a Certified Flight Instructor, you will be responsible for providing flight and ground instruction to student pilots at various stages of their training. You will work closely with our students to help them achieve their aviation goals while ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct flight training sessions in accordance with the approved syllabus and training curriculum.
- Provide both ground and flight instruction to student pilots, including pre-flight briefings, in-flight instruction, and post-flight debriefings.
- Assess student progress and proficiency, and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.
- Develop personalized training plans and adapt instructional techniques to meet the individual learning styles and needs of each student.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, safety standards, and company policies during flight operations.
- Maintain accurate records of student training activities, flight hours, and progress towards certification.
- Participate in flight school events, seminars, and promotional activities to support student recruitment and retention efforts.
- Assist with aircraft inspections, maintenance, and scheduling to ensure the airworthiness and availability of training aircraft.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in flight instruction to enhance teaching effectiveness and professionalism.
- Foster a positive learning environment and promote a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement among students and fellow instructors.
Qualifications:
- Hold a current FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII), and/or Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Flight Instructor, preferably in a Part 141 flight training environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively instruct and motivate student pilots.
- Strong knowledge of flight training principles, techniques, and procedures, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating and teaching in a variety of aircraft types and avionics systems.
- Willingness to undergo periodic training, evaluations, and professional development activities to maintain currency and proficiency as a flight instructor.
