Junior Accountant

Position Overview: As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth processing of payroll for the firm. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate ledgers.
  • Process payroll for 30 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Support senior accountants with audits and other accounting projects as needed.
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure all financial deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting preferred.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop your skills as a Junior Accountant.
