Summary

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be the conductor behind the scenes, orchestrating projects from start to finish. You'll work alongside our dynamic team (both internal ops and external contractors) to make sure timelines stay on track, while keeping an eye on the budget and timeline. You'll be the go-to person for problem-solving and making sure everyone's on the same page. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and is ready to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

This role will report to the CEO + President.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating cross functionally to document project scope, deliverables, goals, risks, success measures, and estimated resources needed.
  • Ensuring that projects remain in-scope and meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality requirements.
  • Creating, managing, and distributing project communications with real-time updates to schedules and budgets.
  • Assisting in business development efforts to create project proposals, RFPs, estimates, and schedules.
  • Working with town and city officials as needed for permitting, etc. Ensuring adherence to legally binding requirements.
  • Leading real estate projects as company growth dictates.
  • Purchasing equipment and managing installation timelines with support from Senior Management and the Supply Chain Manager
  • Planning and leading status review meetings, which may include internal team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Resolving technical and operational issues as required.
  • Identifying operational opportunities for improvement and actively working to find collaborative solutions.
  • Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset by recommending improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and special projects as designated.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, business management, or related area of study. Work experience in lieu of a degree is also accepted.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services.
  • PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization, preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with industry-standard word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software programs.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Mechanical literacy to understand the dynamics of production flow and operational efficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Ability to collaborate with different departments
  • Proficient with Gmail, Excel and/or Google Sheets


Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be willing to work in Danbury, CT + New Milford, CT
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Able to bend, lift, pull.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle as daily trips between factory, warehouse, and office may be necessary
