Genius Talent has partnered with a leading early childhood education organization seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Regional Director of Operations to oversee the operational excellence and growth of our childcare organization across multiple locations within the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality childcare services, driving operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As a key member of the leadership team, the Regional Director of Operations will play a critical role in shaping the organization's success and achieving its mission.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to childcare centers within the region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple childcare centers, including staffing, enrollment, program quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to standardize operations and ensure consistency across locations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess center performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and mentor center directors and other operational staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, marketing, and curriculum development, to support center operations and drive organizational initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, staff, community partners, and regulatory agencies to promote the organization's reputation and credibility.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards governing childcare operations.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through effective enrollment management, budget oversight, and cost-control initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in early childhood education and childcare management.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in management or leadership role, including at least 2 years in a regional or multi-unit leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood education principles, licensing regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, drive revenue growth, and achieve financial targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and childcare management software.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
