Project Based Work to design, test, and commission custom switchgear and generator control systemsWhy this Role?
This role offers engineering project leadership on a diverse product line. From Hardware design, through software design, to testing and validation, the controls engineer is responsible to drive the project to completion and meet customer expectations. There is always something new to learn, interesting projects to work on, and a supportive team to overcome obstacles.
Typical task breakdown:
Execute and support the design, test, manufacture, and commissioning of low and medium voltage switchgear that controls multiple generators which parallel to one or more utility sourcesProvide direction to CAD designers to create wiring and assembly drawings for generator paralleling switchgear controlsInteract with internal and external customers, accomplishing project milestonesCreate bill of materials for generator paralleling switchgear controls in ERP systemCreate PLC programs for control of generator paralleling switchgearExecute multiple projects simultaneouslyInteraction with team:
Work alongside team of 5-8 engineers. Report to Engineering Manger.Personally responsible for the project deliverablesWork environment:
