Opportunity

As an Electrical Engineer, you will develop the optimal technical solutions to customer’s business problems and lead the technical vision in solving those problems in the power generation industry. You will be responsible for the design of systems in the power industry, supporting nuclear power plants and non-safety controls system design.


Responsibilities

  • Designing controls systems for nuclear applications
  • Work following customer requirements, specifications, and proposals to size and select systems for applications with a focus on developing industry leading controls solutions for power plants.
  • Selecting I/O cards, power supplies, chassis layout, network topologies, controller specification
  • Support the system documentation
  • Supporting cross-functional teams and establishing the appropriate internal / external resources to drive industry leading engineering solutions
  • Driving engagement and transparency into the organization
  • Collaborating with Engineering to ensure smooth transition and understanding of proposed solution and customer values offered


Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 10-15 years of control system design and experience, minimum of 5 years of nuclear power plant controls design, non-safety system
  • Proven experience in solution development, technical writing and I&C engineering
  • Technical knowledge/experience of control systems and control system architecture
  • Understanding of the power generation industry
  • Basic understanding of the US power generation market
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Travel 10%
