Position: Reservations Sales & Vacation Planner

Status: Full Time

Hours: 40 hours/week; Weekends Required

Type of Pay: Salary plus quarterly commission; based upon experience

Location: Partial Work-from-Home; Partial In-Office (Local Residency Required)

 

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced individual to join our reservations team as a sales agent and vacation planner. 

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and email inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Provide friendly service and thoroughly communicate detailed, pertinent information to guests and homeowners by answering questions and providing feedback and opinions.
  • Become knowledgeable, successfully utilize, and navigate through property management systems and third party channels such as VRBO and Airbnb.
  • Sell vacations that meet guests’ needs based upon accommodation inventory available.
  • Convert telephone and email inquiries into reservations.
  • Utilize Lead Management System for proficient call tracking, guest follow up, and revenue conversion.
  • Participate in outbound sales efforts and pre-arrival welcome calls.
  • Assist guests with after hour’s check-in procedures and emergency phone calls.
  • Submit resort gate passes, maintenance tickets, amenity forms, housekeeping requests and special contracts in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Communicate guest and property feedback to appropriate parties and assist marketing team with monitoring and responding to online guest reviews.
  • Work to build relationships with all Sweetgrass employees by providing support and assistance.
  • Navigate challenging conversations and guest rental issues to assist management teams with working toward a satisfactory resolution.

Qualifications

  • Weekends required; flexible schedule is a plus.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of Lead Management applications, such as NAVIS or Track Pulse, a plus.
  • Sales experience in hospitality is preferred.
  • Ability to handle challenges or stressful situations in a calm & professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Telephone sales experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
