Job Description:

They are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join their team in the Florham Park, NJ office. The Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting Principals and Associates within their Financial Institutions Practice Group.


Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive legal research.
  • Gathering and analyzing documents for discovery and client purposes.
  • Preparation and filing of state registration documents.
  • Assisting in arbitration/trial scheduling, preparation, and hearings.
  • Preparing and filing SEC documents with the SEC and FINRA.
  • Managing a substantial caseload effectively.
  • Collaborating with firm personnel, outside counsel, and external vendors.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred experience in securities arbitration/litigation.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state securities law, SEC, and FINRA regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient analytical abilities.
  • Familiarity with document management systems is advantageous.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite.
  • A minimum of a 4-year college degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
