Responsibilities:

• Dive into project specifications and blueprints, deciphering the intricacies to grasp project needs comprehensively.

• Forge strong partnerships with sales, engineering, and production teams, gathering crucial data for precise cost estimation.

• Harness your analytical prowess to dissect material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs, crafting meticulous estimates.

• Leverage cutting-edge estimating software to craft detailed and precise cost breakdowns.

• Curate a repository of historical cost data and industry benchmarks, refining future estimates for unmatched accuracy.

• Spot potential risks and opportunities within projects, proactively addressing factors that could sway costs and timelines.

• Play a pivotal role in crafting compelling quotes and proposals for prospective clients, backed by meticulously justified cost estimates.

• Contribute to the evolution of standardized estimating processes and templates, driving efficiency and precision.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, material costs, and manufacturing techniques, ensuring our estimates remain competitive and accurate.

• Collaborate closely with project managers and procurement teams, ensuring seamless alignment between estimates and project execution.


Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. However, if you possess relevant experience, we're all ears

• Boast a track record of success as a commercial estimator in manufacturing, construction, or a related industry.

• Proficiency in wielding estimating software and tools to orchestrate precise cost calculations.

• Possess a sharp eye for detail and analytical finesse.

• Communicate with finesse, fostering effective collaboration across teams and with clients.

• Exhibit a solid grasp of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards.

• Navigate blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications with ease.

• Flex those mathematical muscles for pinpoint calculations.

• Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, spotting cost-saving opportunities and mitigating risks.
