Job Description

Education Qualifications:

• High School Diploma is required

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred


Experience Qualifications:

• 2 years of laboratory experience is required

• Candidates must have basic computer skills, be reliable, accurate and able to handle repetitive tasks

• Positive attitude, sense of urgency, organization, good at communication, and time management


Laboratory Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

• Processing fruits, sampling, aliquoting, running analytical equipment

• Lead high volume sample preparation activities, data entry, and quantitative analyses of fruits and vegetables

• Assists with new project set up and follow up

• Weighs and extracts samples for analytical procedures

• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform all activities

• May perform additional laboratory technical and housekeeping tasks

• Analytics lab duties including liquid handler and other instrumentation and entry level data management

• Activities may require lifting, bending and long periods of standing

• Works under immediate supervision in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
