The Quality Control Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that our company's products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. This position involves overseeing all aspects of quality control processes, from developing and implementing quality assurance policies to conducting inspections and audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, knowledge of chemicals and raw materials, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, testing and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Establish metrics for quality assessment and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage a team of quality control inspectors, providing leadership, guidance, and training as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes and products to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Analyze quality control data and trends to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Continue to grow and develop Quality Control System.
  • Oversee & guide R&D projects & processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Lead quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Other projects/duties as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.


Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in quality management, chemical engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control management
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, CE).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data and identify root causes of quality issues.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
