Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate informationContact patients, pharmacists, and doctor’s offices to resolve claims issuesProcess prescriptions (from intake to order completion)Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is providedContact members/patients to validate data, resolve rejected claims, request payment information, establish priority of order or delivery details, consult on medication issues, and set up treatment in on-site facilitiesInterpret provider prescription and create order, access, input and retrieve prescription and medical / lab information from a computer system, verify whether order / drug is reimbursable / coveredLifting to 30 lbs. continuouslyIdeal candidate background:
A positive, well-spoken, and multi-tasking capable technician with prior pharmacy experience.
Required Skills:
Pharmacy experience of 1-10 yearsPharmacy/infusion experience is preferred and requires a Texas Board of Pharmacy licensed technician.
Dress code
Business casual or scrubs.
