Manager of Family Services and Residences
Boston and Cape Cod MA,
Seeking a full time Manager of Family Services and Residences. The principals and school age child main home are Beacon Hill and rotating among Cape Cod residence and other temporary residences. Active and dynamic role with changing activities and responsibilities coordinating household operations, concierge, hospitality services, preparations, and maintenance to allow the principals and guests to enjoy smooth daily readiness. Manager has alert, positive energy, has a pro-active and self-sufficient work style juggling multiple support activities. Works well as part of a team with principal’s business employees, Chef, and other services providers. High level reliability, providing security and privacy to the family. Occasionally helping with family support including babysitting, playdate oversight and ensuring a warm, safe environment.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- social and calendar scheduling.Coordinate among family, business and social calendars with regular consultations and adjustments.
- moves- assists in coordinating moves to other properties and ensure easy transitions for all parties, including guests.
- with management of rental properties.
- research, reviewing household bills, vendor scheduling and supervision of vendors, trades, and other services providers.
- the housekeeper and other workers around home and grounds as needed.
- with hiring staff and supervising. Be a good team player.
- with serving meals when entertaining.Set up, decorating, service during family get-togethers, parties, and events.
- logistics- central coordinator for caterers, business, friends, and family.
- cleaning supplies, toiletries, pool supplies, glassware, plates, and various bathroom supplies.
- for errands, dry cleaning, post office, or other requested trips.
- and prepare for your travel with family or preparing residences. Travel in advance of family to prepare residences.
- in operating home, A/V, security, WIFI, Cable, and systems monitoring technologies.
- monitoring of home resources, mechanical workings, setting household manuals with servicing calendars.
- for after-hours 24/7 accessibility and monitoring of residence Apps and security protocols.
Examples of Tasks and Projects:
Guest hospitality – greeting, drinks and whatever.Guest room set-ups
Amazon orders
Shopping and ordering wine, liquor, and other requests.
Home decorating projects
Refrigerator and pantry stocking
Creating ambiance for dinners and entertaining
Gifting and special occasion coordination.
Plan and organize weekends at the Cape- kid’s activities, etc.
Lots of miscellaneous requests, needs and to-do lists.
