The Material Planner will be responsible for procurement and supply of Engineering materials for use spread across various build locations. Material planners are also responsible for material inventory levels as it moves through the R&D product cycle.

Skills:

MS Office – Knowledge with Excel

Analytical and data manipulation skills

Good Communication Skills

Excels in fast paced environments

Experience working cross functionally

Intuitive and Proactive

Sense of Urgency

Experience with R&D

Experience with Peoplesoft a plus

Responsibilities

Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of material throughout the Procurement process.

Determines material requirements from Engineering.

Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering

Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; work with bill of materials and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems
