Materials Planner

Genesis10 is seeking a Materials Planner for a one-year contract with our client in Lisle, IL. This position will work onsite 5 days per week.

Job Description:
Our client's Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for an R&D Material Planning position. The Material Planner will procure and supply engineering materials for use across various build locations. There are opportunities to communicate and problem-solve with cross-functional teams including other supply chain team members, production, quality, engineering, third-party logistics, and procurement. Communication may be direct with the supply base and/or through corporate conference calls. Material planners are also responsible for material inventory levels as it move through the R&D product cycle.

This is primarily what we are looking for:
• Plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of material throughout the Procurement process.
• Determines material requirements from Engineering.
• Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering

Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; work with bill of materials and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems

Required Basic Qualifications: MS Office – Knowledge with Excel
Analytical and data manipulation skills

Excels in fast paced environments
Experience working cross functionally
Intuitive and Proactive
Sense of Urgency
Experience with R&D
Experience with Peoplesoft a plus

Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $24-$27.00/Hr.
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
