Job Summary:

The Network Manager has a strong background in service provider network operations. The Network Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have previous experience at reputable companies with a deep understanding of service provider network technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of Wecom Fiber's network infrastructure, including fiber optic networks, switches, routers, and other networking equipment.
  • Manage a team of network engineers and technicians to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of the network, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and customer support, to align network objectives with business goals and customer requirements.
  • Implement network monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and resolve network issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability of services.
  • Develop and enforce network security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect against cyber threats and ensure the integrity of the network infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to procure network equipment, negotiate contracts, and maintain vendor relationships to support network operations.
  • Conduct regular network performance assessments, capacity planning, and technology evaluations to recommend upgrades, expansions, and enhancements to meet growing network demands.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to drive innovation and compliance within the network infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing service provider networks.
  • Strong knowledge of service provider network technologies, including fiber optics, Ethernet, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
  • Experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting in a complex network environment.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills to lead a high-performing network team.
  • Proven track record of successful network projects, upgrades, and optimizations in a service provider environment.
