Job Title: SyteLine / CSI Developer
Job Description:
The Syteline Developer assumes responsibility for developing and maintaining stored procedures, IDOs, UETs, and other software code pertaining to the organization's SyteLine systems. This role involves the continuous development and refinement of software code (MS SQL, Mongoose, C# & .Net) as necessary for business operations, as well as the analysis and upkeep of applications, processes, and procedures. Additionally, the Syteline Developer provides guidance on potential enhancements to business processes to optimize the functionality of the ERP system. Furthermore, this position remains abreast of industry trends, offering recommendations for integrations that are both cost-effective and efficient, while collaborating with the Director of Information Technology to formulate and execute the overall strategic objectives of the organization's IT environment.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and rigorously testing applications in alignment with established standards.
- Assisting in the gathering and documentation of user requirements, crafting user stories, and providing estimates for project builds.
- Creating reports, manuals, and other documentation to detail the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
- Refining and fine-tuning integrations between applications to ensure seamless operation.
- Adhering to stringent development principles to deliver solutions punctually and within budget constraints.
- Providing third-level support to business users and delivering training and education on network operations, applications, and usage.
- Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ERP system, promptly addressing trouble tickets.
- Strictly adhering to code promotion procedures to maintain code integrity and reliability.
- Crafting reports as necessitated by the organization and aiding business users in defining report requirements for accurate and timely information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field. Relevant work experience may be substituted year-for-year in lieu of formal education.
- A minimum of 3 years of pertinent software development experience.
- Proficiency in MS SQL, C#, .NET, and the Mongoose framework.
