We are currently partnering with our international client to fill the role of Industrial Engineer in Fall River, MA. This great opportunity for hands-on individuals with a passion for continuous improvement initiatives offers the potential for assuming management responsibilities within the Engineering team.


In the role of Industrial Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes. You will lead process and production improvement projects, focusing on implementing LEAN methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Value Stream Analysis along the value streams for the production, and definition and implementation of end-to-end production process improvements are part of the objectives. This hands-on role requires strong collaboration skills, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process enhancements and provide technical support to ensure quality and throughput targets are achieved.


Key Responsibilities:

· Lead process and production improvement projects, with a focus on continuous cost reduction initiatives.

· Conduct Value Stream Analysis and facilitate advanced process design workshops.

· Implement shop-floor management standards and provide training to shop floor personnel.

· Provide timely technical support to manufacturing cells to maintain quality and throughput.

· Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, and Planning teams to develop and implement production material supply concepts.

· Support R&D projects to ensure design-to-produce feasibility and alignment with production technology standards.

· Facilitate benchmarking and alignment of industrial engineering and production standards within the Teufelberger global production network.

· Advocate for an end-to-end business and process view within Teufelberger production and engineering teams.

· Promote a continuous improvement culture aligned with key performance indicators for Quality, Cost, On-time Delivery, and People Excellence.


Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.

· 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, with a strong LEAN background.

· Shop floor experience and production process knowledge in at least one manufacturing industry.

· Practical SAP knowledge for production and material-related transactions.

· Project and people management experience in LEAN project implementation.

· Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing Methods, including Value Stream Mapping/Design, Shopfloor Management, 5S, Kaizen, Poka-yoke, etc.

· Preferred experience in Six Sigma, manufacturing quality standards, product development processes, ISO 9001:2015 standards, and product compliance regulations (Prop 65, RoHS, REACH).

· Ability to present technical content effectively.

· Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (5-10% domestic; potentially 1-2 trips to Europe).
