Skyline is seeking a Financial Accountant to manage all financial controls, budgeting, state and local tax compliance, and reporting responsibilities of the company. Working largely independently and with management team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly/quarterly financial information
  • Manage the daily operations of payroll, including overseeing the maintenance of payroll records, logs and files in accordance with Company policy and state and federal laws and regulations
  • Coordinate and provide necessary documents to external CPA firm for audit, tax return preparation and year end physical inventory count.
  • Generate annual budget and forecast updates with comparisons of budget and actual results.
  • Coordination with manufacturing team on reports including inventory valuation
  • Budgeting and forecasting in conjunction with management team yearly goals
  • Support budget and forecasting activities
  • Manage all human resource tasks regarding 401(k), PTO, and new hire set up.
  • Management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and various other accounting functions as needed.
  • Commitment to safety begins with management. Managers and frontline supervisors are accountable for creating and maintaining a culture of Safety and assuring a safe work environment.

  • The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Experience in a manufacturing facility strongly preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation Minimum of 5 years in a financial or accounting leadership position. Experience as a Controller preferred.
  • Good knowledge of accounting software
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Experience working with manufacturing, engineering, technology and sales teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams across the company.
  • You remain positive, enthusiastic, and solutions-focused in the face of challenge
