Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying opportunities, and closing deals for the sale of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and other related products. This role will require technical knowledge, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the rotating equipment market.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers in the selection, sizing, and application of rotating equipment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate quotes, proposals, and orders.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with customers.
- Provide feedback to the engineering and product development teams on customer needs and market trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
- Technical knowledge of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and related products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide technical solutions.
- Experience with sales tools and techniques, including CRM, forecasting, and contract negotiation.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
