  • Working knowledge of computers, word processing, and spreadsheet applications for documentation and data presentation.
  • Ability to read, modify, and execute test scripts used for debugging.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to various technologies that allow effective troubleshooting Examples: Digital and Analog Electronics components, optical components, servo components, machined parts, sheet metal parts, cable assemblies.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are required to partner effectively with operation techs, supervisors, the training department, and. Manufacturing/Design/Test Engineers.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Experience with JIRA, Agile, and SAP or equivalent tools.
  • Effectively use of troubleshooting and measurement equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, custom test platforms.
  • Document investigation findings in quality notifications, which are part of official Device History Records.
  • Electronic and Mechanical assembly skills (Examples: soldering, crimping, box build, fiber handling, optical component handling, cable routing, and use of RTV/epoxy).

Education and Experience:

  • AS degree, trade school, military technical training. B.S. EE/Comp E or equivalent is preferred.
  • A minimum of eight years of troubleshooting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
