The Market Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Client Account teams by assisting with client renewals and implementations. This role also involves various administrative tasks aimed at improving workflows, timeliness, and overall client satisfaction. Additionally, the Market Analyst conducts client open enrollment meetings and aids in client relationship meetings. They will effectively communicate our client's value proposition and the latest industry trends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Renewal Process: Collaborate with the Account Manager, Benefits Consultant, and Client Executive to assist in the renewal process and ensure client satisfaction. Work closely with the Account Team and the client's solutions.
  • Open Enrollment: Conduct client open enrollment meetings as needed and assist in preparing presentation materials for client relationship meetings.
  • Quoting Tools: Utilize carrier and vendor quoting tools to complete or coordinate quotes and proposals for new and renewal business. Assist in spreadsheet creation and peer review of market analysis.
  • Contract Review: Ensure accuracy in the review of contracts and benefits summaries for sold plans.
  • CRM Management: Ensure accurate policy information and commissions for all accounts and policies in D365.
  • Census Management: Ensure accurate census data is received with input from the client, Client Executive, and/or Account Manager.
  • Service Teamwork: Review the accuracy of client work assignments from internal service team members, including SPR, open enrollment material, mid-year education campaigns, and post-enrollment audit activities.
  • Service Issues: Serve in an advisory capacity for clients, follow up on escalated service issues, or coordinate through the Customer Advocate Center (CAC).
  • Compliance Checklist: Assist in maintaining the Client Compliance Checklist and meet requirements such as 5500 billing/filing, SBC distribution, and SPD wrap documentation as needed.
  • Carrier Events: Attend carrier events to stay updated and knowledgeable about carrier plans and changes.

  • Familiarity with insurance carrier websites
  • Proven track record in customer service
  • Knowledge of health and ancillary products
  • Familiarity with local carriers and preferred products

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in a broker agency or carrier (preferred)
  • Current Life and Health license (required)
  • 24 hours of Continuing Professional Education credits every 2 years to maintain the license
  • Intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft Office products (required)
  • Intermediate knowledge of database applications (required)
