Redstone Commodity Search are working with a leading shipbroking company looking to hire an experienced LPG shipbroker to join the commercial team in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and finalize charter party agreements between vessel owners and charterers for the transportation of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
• Monitor market dynamics, freight rates, and vessel availability to provide clients with accurate, timely, and actionable insights.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vessel owners, charterers, and other key stakeholders in the LPG industry.
• Oversee the successful execution of charter agreements, proactively addressing any contractual or operational issues that arise.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to enhance Steem1960’s market position and expand its client base.

Experience and Skills Required

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in LPG shipbroking or a related role within the shipping, energy, or commodities sectors.
• Deep understanding of the LPG market, including shipping lanes, freight rates, and various vessel types.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close deals while aligning with client objectives.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
