We are seeking a motivated Senior Financial Analyst to lead our financial planning and budgeting processes, analyze financial statements and reports, and develop financial models to inform our overall company strategy through data insights. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you'll collaborate closely with the Accounting team to produce monthly financial packages and work cross-functionally to provide reporting to various department heads. The ideal candidate is strategic and big-picture oriented, ready to make a significant impact as the first hire in our FP&A vertical. This position offers tremendous growth potential and the opportunity to shape the future of our financial operations.


The details:

Location: Hybrid – this role will work from our head office 2 days/week and from home the remainder. However, additional on-site presence may be required to support team collaboration, meetings, and other business needs.

Hours/Contract: Full Time

Physical requirements: The role involves extended periods of both sitting and screen time.

Travel requirements: None


As the Senior Financial Analyst, you would be responsible for:

  • Assisting with budgeting and monthly close process
  • Understanding key business drivers
  • Developing financial projections and building financial models
  • Tracking financial KPIs and preparing financial reports
  • Ensuring compliance with banking covenants and other financial policies
  • Assisting department heads with financial reporting and analysis
  • Other responsibilities as required and as the position evolves


We want you to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

  • Experience working for a CPG company, Beauty Industry would be a huge plus
  • Experience with Acumatica ERP System
  • CFA/CPA certification
