SENIOR FINANCIAL MODELER

The Select Group is currently hiring for a Financial Modeler to join as a resource for one of our clients within the Telecommunications industry that will sit hybrid (3 days per week) in Bellevue, WA. This Modeler will be joining the Operational FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Group that supports all lines of business to set budgets, forecasts, plans, variance, and tracking against long range financial plans. Ideally we're looking for someone that can hit the ground running and help develop new revenue cohort models and make existing planning/ infrastructure more efficient. SENIOR FINANCIAL MODELER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ideally 6-10 years of professional experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)
  • Proficient in Developing revenue cohort models from scratch
  • Proficient with Excel based models to enhance and modernize existing models (Both Actions & Implementations)
  • Experience building macros and queries to aggregate and define data - loading Financial Planning Software and Variance Analysis
  • Demonstrated understanding of planning tools where forecasting is loaded into the system (FinPro)
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills/ Communication to work with cross functional teams

SENIOR FINANCIAL MODELER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize Excel to produce high-quality spreadsheets and reports for internal team departments around budgets and forecasts for future project objectives
  • Use financial analysis tools to evaluate portfolio options and advise based on forecasting models
  • Provide predictive forecasts, such as expected raw material needs or anticipated sales figures
  • Communicate with a variety of different team departments to understand their needs and project plans to better adjust your forecasting models
