Communications Support Coordinator

- Administrative tasks such as managing news subscriptions, purchase orders and corporate store; other tasks as needed to support the Director
- Processes and coordinates requests for tours; serves as the department’s liaison between internal and/or external clients for tours;
- Aggregate news coverage for internal distribution;
- Provides basic document formatting as part of the document review cycle
- Documents standards and procedures for Communications and PR tasks
- Prepares and/or edits notices in support of the corporation to drive consistent, accurate, and effective communication to external audiences and clients;
- Enforces internal policies that emphasize consistent and quality communications;
- May support to website administrators for posting content;
- Maintains a high level of data integrity and confidentiality;
- Responsible for additional ongoing departmental projects.
Additional Skills and Abilities:
- Communication degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sharepoint)
- Copywriting and editing
- Event planning/organization
- Knowledge of AP Style
- Basic understanding of HTML a bonus
