The Director of Small Uncrewed Aerial Systems (SUAS) Programs will be part of a close-knit team with a successful track record of building a world-class organization. 

The Director of SUAS Programs will report to the Vice President and be responsible for leading and managing T3i’s global SUAS programs.  The ideal candidate will have well-rounded experience with the military, special operations, and intelligence communities and extensive skills and expertise with uncrewed aerial systems, tactical air power integration, intelligence-surveillance-reconnaissance platforms, and tactical communications systems.  The Director of SUAS Programs will collaborate with company stakeholders, US government key personnel, and partner nation leaders worldwide to support T3i’s strategic objectives. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Demonstrates alignment with T3i’s core values in all business activities
  • Serves as T3i’s senior leader and expert for all SUAS business and capabilities
  • Conducts research, develops plans, builds teams, and executes mission activities 
  • Leads and manages the development of unique SUAS capabilities and acquisition of programs
  • Develops strategies and oversees activities, including contract and task management, cost projection and tracking, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
  • Develops and directs training and deployment of SUAS crewmembers and systems
  • Develops and maintains standard operating procedures, manuals, and other materials
  • Effectively interacts with customers, senior leaders, staff, and employees 
  • Collects and integrates lessons learned into training and development of capabilities  

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • 15 years of career experience
  • 5 years of relevant SUAS experience, including as a pilot and or crewmember
  • Experience leading and managing SUAS/air power integration programs 
  • Extensive personal and professional relationships with relevant customers
  • Current or ability to obtain a USG Top-Secret Security clearance


Type of Employment: Full-Time, exempt

Travel: > 50 percent (CONUS and OCONUS)

T3i Drug Free Workplace Statement: As a Federal Government Contractor, T3i is required to strictly adhere to federally mandated drug-free workplace standards.  To ensure compliance with this requirement, T3i conducts pre-employment drug screening for all new hire personnel (full time, part time, and independent contractor) and annual random drug screening for all current T3i personnel.  All drug screening includes testing for the following drugs, at a minimum: Marijuana (CBD, hemp oil, and other cannabidiol use may result in a positive result), cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6-monoacetylmorphine, and PCP.  Personnel who cannot pass drug screening are not eligible for employment with T3i.
