  • Mechanical Design – primarily light industrial machinery involving:
  • Location is accessible to the Akron and Cleveland area.
  • Weldments
  • Sheet Metal
  • Fabricated components
  • Pneumatics
  • Motion components – bearings, rails, shafts, belts, pulleys, chains, motors
  • Incorporating electrical control devices
  • Generate and maintain technical documentation including:
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and diagrams
  • Assembly drawings
  • Mechanical details, layouts and assemblies
  • Installation drawings and Procedures
  • Parts Lists
  • Manuals
  • Project Management – Work with Production to:
  • Establish time line for project from receipt of PO to shipment
  • Create customer project specific drawings and parts list
  • Assist with the plan to assemble and test equipment and make ready for shipment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid works preferred
  • Experience with design of industrial machinery
  • Computer skills - PC literate.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized – able to manage multiple projects at different stages
