Job Summary

The Off-Page SEO Specialist will execute and manage a comprehensive off-page SEO strategy. This role's primary focus is obtaining high-quality backlinks for our digital properties through outreach, earned media, and relationship building. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of acquiring backlinks through various channels.


Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to acquire high-quality backlinks that boost our website's authority and search engine rankings.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify relevant websites, blogs, and influencers for outreach opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with bloggers, journalists, industry influencers, and website owners.
  • Create compelling outreach emails and pitches to secure guest posts, collaborations, and other backlink opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on backlink quality and quantity, ensuring adherence to SEO best practices and Google guidelines.
  • Work closely with the content team to create valuable and shareable content that attracts backlinks naturally.
  • Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Utilize SEO tools and analytics to track progress, measure success, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align off-page SEO efforts with broader marketing strategies.


Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience in off-page SEO and backlink acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with outreach and relationship-building techniques.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative.
