Overview

Seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Benefits Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees regarding their benefits inquiries. This role requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of benefits administration processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
  • Utilize HR software systems such as bSwift and UltiPro for managing employee benefits data.
  • Communicate effectively with employees to address questions or concerns related to their benefits.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee benefits enrollments and changes.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to manage benefit offerings and resolve issues.
  • Conduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new benefit programs as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months- 1 years Benefits or HR related experience preferred
  • Understanding of Benefits Administration, FMLA, HR Operations and Retirement
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, basic to intermediate Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of bSwift and Ultipro systems preferred
  • Basic knowledge of ERISA, employee benefit programs, including flexible benefit programs, financial analysis, and budgeting
  • Proficient with manipulating and auditing data from multiple sources
