Our Challenge

Looking for a developer speializing in Python to help lead development efforts to deliver an application to streamline the design and maintenance of our hosting solutions. This will include integration with the product catalog and config management solutions in addition to the orchestration layer. This person will mostly be working with this team made up of other developers.


Atlanta, GA/Richmond, VA/Charlotte, NC/Jersey City. NJ


Salary: $110K- $115K per annum


The Role

Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and experience in designing, implementing, and consuming them.

• Solid programming skills with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

• Familiarity with full-stack development principles and the ability to work with front-end and back-end technologies as required.

• Solid Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and best practices.

• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Experience with SQL and database design concepts.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team

Preferred Skills

• Horizon CI/CD tool knowledge


Requirements

You are:


Strong expertise and working experience in Python

Knowledge of computer science data structures and algorithms

Knowledge of ORM libraries like Sql alchemy, etc.

Experience in databases (relational/document/etc.) including NoSQL databases.

Experience building distributed and scalable complex services as well as Restful services and robust microservices.

Experience with web services development and REST interfaces in Python

Experience with Analytic reporting tools like Tableau

Analytical skills to perform technical and functional analysis with strong communication skills.

Should be able work with business users involving complex requirements gathering and translating them into actionable items for developers. Most of the times this includes quick prototyping.

Maintain high standard and follow best practices by re-factoring existing code to enhance readability, performance and general structure

Experience working in regulatory projects is strongly desirable

Experience working in Containers

Maintain high standard and follow best practices by re-factoring existing code to enhance readability, performance and general structure

Experience in CICD, Jenkins, Git

Experience working on high volume applications

Experience working in Agile teams

Knowledge of Liquidity Reports like Fed5g, LCR, NSFR, CRD IV etc is a plus
