About This Opportunity

The Designer II is responsible for translating ideas, sketches, and specifications from customers, sales personnel, and the engineering team into detailed working plans. These plans are used by team members for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of company products.

What You Will Do

Utilize CAD software to design and create concept, assembly, and detailed drawings for complex product designs.
Generate accurate bills of materials.
Prepare submittal and installation drawing packages for customers.
Offer support during the installation process, providing clarification and troubleshooting as needed for on-site crews.
Provide basic assistance to other departments as required.
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop solutions to space and performance challenges.
Apply industry standards to daily tasks, ensuring quality control for all assembly drawings, detail drawings, and bills of materials.
Utilize field knowledge, practices, and procedures to effectively plan and achieve project goals.
Train and mentor junior designers.
