Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Installer at Central Motor Wheel of America in Paris, KY. The Electrical Installer will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical conduit in automotive manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.


Responsibilities

Assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, including outlets, switches, lighting, panels, and other components.

Learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.

Support the setup and calibration of electrical equipment and machinery.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.

Perform basic electrical tests and measurements to assist in troubleshooting.

Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Assist in running and securing wiring, cables, and conduit in compliance with electrical codes.

Learn and adhere to company policies and industry best practices.


Qualifications

  • Familiarity with different types of conduit (e.g., EMT, Rigid, PVC), various bending techniques, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience with power tools and measuring equipment
  • Basic understanding of electrical code requirements (NEC)
  • Electrical installation and maintenance skills
  • Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Relevant certification or vocational training in electrical installation
  • Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry is a plus
