Senior Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Inergroup Insourcing Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex equipment repairs, preventative inspections, and ensuring all work is completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Inspection and Repair: Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment to identify and diagnose issues.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
  • Installation and Repair: Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Electrical and Hydraulic Systems: Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Pipe Systems and Equipment: Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Must have 5+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
  • Education: Requires a HS Diploma/GED. Graduation from an industrial trade school highly preferred.
  • Skills: Extensive previous experience in an industrial maintenance environment, knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance, and strong skills dealing with troubleshooting and repairs of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems on production and associated equipment.
