About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned software engineer to join a high-profile full stack project team for a large client and industry leader in healthcare services delivery. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to provide engineering contributions to a large, worldwide integrated healthcare services companies. Here’s what you can expect from a day-in-the-life:

  • Multi-pillar support for configurable customer-specific lookup tables
  • Real-time data syncing between AWS cloud-hosted services and client solution(s)
  • Development and maintenance of existing Angular UI components such as Criteria Builder
  • Real-time data flows between cloud-hosted product and Angular SPA (Redux)
  • Aligning with the client on requirements and solution capabilities


Qualifications & Requirements

Education and Experience level

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (we will consider applicants with extensive career experience in lieu of a degree)
  • At least five (5) years of software engineering experience in Object-Oriented Programming
  • Amazon Web Services certification

Required Skills

  • Design & development of server-side applications & RESTful API’s (.NET Core, .NET Framework, or Java microservices)
  • Experience with Angular 2 (or higher)
  • Professional experience using TypeScript
  • Engineering experience with Docker containers
  • Concurrency & Multithreaded Process engineering
  • Data Structures, algorithms, paradigms, and design patterns
  • Solutions design using microservices architecture
  • History of practicing & communicating OOP best practices and exposure to solution design

Nice-to-have Skills

Although not required, we will put greater emphasis on your candidacy if you have experience with any of the following:

  • AWS cloud development and large-scale, high volume hosted applications
  • Large-scale web development using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, REST
  • Experience with UI state management libraries like Redux
  • SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL)
  • TDD/BDD and testing frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, Protractor, Playwright or Cypress
  • Tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Git, and TFS
  • Healthcare industry and familiarity with HL7
  • Statistical methodologies and techniques
  • Experience practicing a high level of test automation in development

Location & Citizenship

As this will support a U.S.-based healthcare client, you must also meet the following criteria to be considered:

  • Located in the U.S. and able to work full-time remotely (this team will be distributed)
    • While this position is remote across the U.S., preference will be given to candidates located in the Atlanta, GA area
  • Current U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) with no employment sponsorship needs
