GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for office work and accounting work directly related to the general business operations of Eastridge Workforce Solutions. The Senior Staff Accountant will be expected to consistently and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in carrying out the duties of this role. A Senior Staff Accountant will have 4+ years of relatable experience at a company with revenues above $25MM.


RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

  • Handling the administrative day-to-day functions of the Staff Accountant position, including accounting work, advising management, researching, planning, and analyzing data
  • Perform accounting for Prepaids, Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable accounting and accruals at the Corporate level

Originate the accounting and maintain the GL for selected Eastridge companies

  • This position plays an active role in the daily and month end close accounting responsibilities related to assigned legal entities. These responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing and posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations and preparing internal reports for Management.

Perform financial analysis

  • This position is responsible for analyzing the operating results of the assigned legal entities. The analysis will be performed regularly as a part of the monthly close review procedures. Financial analysis and forecasting will also be performed on an ad hoc basis to accomplish strategic objectives.

Regularly assist the manager as requested or directed.

Support special projects

  • Eastridge frequently engages in special projects that focus on existing and future operations. This position will commonly play a role in the financial aspect of such projects.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an accounting department for a privately held company with revenues above $25MM or 2 years of experience working in public accounting for a mid-sized public accounting firm

It would be great if you had these:

  • Experience with Workday FDM
  • Foreign Exchange (FX) Experience
  • Audit Experience - Experience interacting with Auditors
  • Experience with Payroll and commissions
  • Staffing & Recruiting Industry Experience
