Project Planning Coordinator

Our client is a renowned entity in the automotive industry The company is currently expanding rapidly and is in the midst of an extensive digital overhaul. There is a significant focus from both the business side and the senior management on advancing technological endeavors, and they are actively seeking dedicated individuals to drive the technical advancements within the company. This role offers a chance to be part of a prominent and strategically critical network initiative.
We are in search of a seasoned IT Project Coordinator with a minimum of five years experience with project coordination and project planning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and communication capabilities and a solid history of efficiently overseeing and executing IT infrastructure renewal initiatives.
In this role, the Project Coordinator will facilitate all stages of project coordination, from initial scoping and timeline establishment to the successful completion of tasks, ensuring they are delivered on time. Effective communication with all stakeholders involved in the project, such as team members, contractors, and suppliers, is essential.
This position is contract-based, providing a flexible, hybrid work arrangement, with required office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and an additional day based on operational requirements.
Position Overview
- Support in delineating project scope, objectives, and expected outputs.
- Create and oversee comprehensive project schedules, managing all related administrative activities and involved sites.
- Track project advancement, coordinate necessary follow-ups on tasks, and maintain adherence to timelines and financial constraints.
- Encourage consistent interaction among diverse team units to ensure alignment with the project’s strategic aims.
- Keep continuous communication with all relevant store locations to relay project updates and respond to any issues.
- Arrange necessary meetings and manage invitations as required.
- Aid in the formulation and execution of optimal practices in project coordination.
- Collaborate with project team members to confirm compatibility of all components needed to achieve project goals.
- Keep thorough records of project activities and documentation, and ensure progress updates are communicated to pertinent team members and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or similar field.
- 5-6 years of experience in Project Coordination, particularly in managing network upgrade projects and project scheduling.
- Understanding of network structures and technology.
- Proficient with project management applications, including Excel.
- Exceptional communicative and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong command of both written and verbal communication.
- Highly organized with the capability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail with a priority on precision and quality.
- Problem-solving aptitude, with an innovative and analytical approach to challenges.
- Competency to operate effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
