Office Manager

As the Office Manager at our client's esteemed luxury design/build firm you will be integral to the team, responsible for managing the company’s financial, administrative, and human resources operations. This pivotal role supports and acts as a backup for the President, critical in maintaining seamless and effective business operations. The position demands a proactive management style in overseeing office resources, cultivating positive employee relations, and ensuring regulatory compliance, all within the high standards synonymous with a luxury setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees for HR-related inquiries and support.
- Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from job postings to hiring, including background checks and employee onboarding.
- Conduct employee performance reviews and manage compensation with approval from management.
- Maintain and update the employee handbook, ensuring policies reflect current regulations and company standards.
Office Management:
- Ensure operational efficiency within the office, resolving any issues related to office equipment and supplies.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage office procurements.
- Provide administrative support for various departments and ensure that all staff needs are met efficiently.
Finance Management:
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Manage payroll processing, including adjustments, timesheet verification, and tax report filings.
- Oversee banking activities, including deposits, account reconciliation, and maintaining financial records.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in finance management, human resources, and office administration.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws, finance regulations, and office management procedures
