As the Office Manager at our client's esteemed luxury design/build firm you will be integral to the team, responsible for managing the company’s financial, administrative, and human resources operations. This pivotal role supports and acts as a backup for the President, critical in maintaining seamless and effective business operations. Key Responsibilities:


Human Resources:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees for HR-related inquiries and support.
  • Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from job postings to hiring, including background checks and employee onboarding.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and manage compensation with approval from management.
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook, ensuring policies reflect current regulations and company standards.

Office Management:

  • Ensure operational efficiency within the office, resolving any issues related to office equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manage office procurements.
  • Provide administrative support for various departments and ensure that all staff needs are met efficiently.

Finance Management:

  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Manage payroll processing, including adjustments, timesheet verification, and tax report filings.
  • Oversee banking activities, including deposits, account reconciliation, and maintaining financial records.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in finance management, human resources, and office administration.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, finance regulations, and office management procedures
