We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our production machinery. You will be a key player in our team, working closely with other departments to ensure optimal productivity and minimize downtime. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all maintenance operations in the manufacturing facility, including packaging maintenance, boiler maintenance, oven maintenance, and mechanical maintenance.
  • Utilize PLC troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair issues with production machinery.
  • Schedule maintenance workers, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform maintenance training for new and existing staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Install, repair, and maintain production machinery, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify potential maintenance issues and implement proactive solutions.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor maintenance costs and work to reduce expenses while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in packaging maintenance, boiler maintenance, oven maintenance, and mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong PLC troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience scheduling maintenance workers and performing maintenance training.
  • Demonstrated ability to install, repair, and maintain production machinery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with other departments.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
  • A proactive and forward-thinking approach, with the ability to anticipate potential maintenance issues and implement effective solutions.
