Job Responsibilities:

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Program Manager to lead the migration of Salesforce’s Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) system from Xactly to Spiff. This high-visibility program will involve coordination across 15 workstreams, including Business Technology (BT), Global Incentive Compensation (GIC), Spiff Professional Services, Spiff Product, SOX compliance, and data storage/migration teams. The Senior Program Manager will have dotted line reporting from 4 project managers and be responsible for ensuring seamless collaboration across all teams, achieving weekly goals, and providing clear and concise communication to executive stakeholders, including EVPs.

  1. Program Leadership and Coordination:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the ICM migration program, ensuring alignment across 15 workstreams, 6 teams, and 140+ team members.
  • Provide strategic guidance to ensure successful delivery within the established timeline (January 2025 – August 2026).
  • Facilitate collaboration among diverse teams, including BT, GIC, Spiff Professional Services, Spiff Product, and SOX compliance teams.
  • Negotiate and advocate with the Spiff Product team to ensure all require product enhancements are delivered on-time and to the quality level required by the business.
  • Work closely with Business and Professional Services testing teams weekly to ensure all product and configuration deliverables pass Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing, before being deployed to Production.
  • Escalate concerns and decision to the leadership teams across BT, GIC, Spiff PS, SOX and Spiff Product to effectively unblock issues within a week of the issue arising.


  1. Governance and Stakeholder Management:
  • Organize and lead key program meetings, including Program Control Team (PCT) meetings, Steering Committees (SteerCos), RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions) meetings, Product Council meetings, Project & Product manager meetings, and adhoc meetings with LT to unblock issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and milestones.
  • Communicate effectively with EVPs, tailoring information to suit their strategic decision-making needs.


  1. Tracking and Reporting:
  • Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Smartsheet, tracking milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and unblocking where necessary.
  • Manage the Change Log, and work across new change requests logged by the 15 workstreams and 140+ team members. Triage and intake change requests, escalating critical items to the SteerCo whenever required.
  • Create, manage and update program decks, which will be referenced by up to 140 members weekly.
  • Provide daily updates on progress via Slack, ensuring transparency and accountability across teams.


  1. Resource and Financial Management:
  • Track program resourcing needs, working with project managers and functional leads to ensure adequate staffing across workstreams.
  • Manage year-over-year program finances, including budget tracking, cost forecasting, and variance analysis.


  1. Technical Oversight:
  • Collaborate with data storage and migration teams to ensure seamless migration of data through Snowflake and DataCloud.
  • Work with Spiff Product to coordinate development and enhancements to the Spiff core product as required.
  • Work closely with SOX teams to ensure all deliverables are met accurately and completely.


Qualifications:

  1. Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional programs on time and within budget.
  • Strong willingness to study and understand complex business, technology, and financial processes in a short period of time.


2. Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in using Smartsheet for weekly program scheduling and tracking.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to executive stakeholders (via Slack, Email, slide decks, and Executive meetings).
  • Proficient in risk and issue management, with the ability to identify, analyze, and mitigate program risks.
  • Solid understanding of SOX compliance requirements and data storage/migration processes (experience with Snowflake and DataCloud is a plus).
  • Familiarity with understanding and dissecting complex L4 business and data process flows.
  • Financial acumen to manage program budgets and resources effectively.
  • Familiarity with Slack, Salesforce, and other collaboration tools for program reporting and communication.
  • Experience with ICM systems, and/or sales crediting and commission processes.
