Patagon Search (www.PatagonSearch.com) is seeking a highly skilled and very data oriented Operations Manager to supervise technical operations of our clients main system and the team that runs it. This is a 3/2 hybrid position based out of Downtown Miami,


The successful person will use strong communications, organizational, and data management and interpretation skills to ensure the seamless and timely execution of the company's operations. You will be responsible for the fulfillment of project delivery objectives, accountable for supporting the development of and adherence to streamlined processes that will enable the growth of the operations team and the lines of business our client serves. You will be a key contributor in enhancing the organization's expansion.


Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the implementation of new product and program launches on main platform.
  • Manage daily operations, overseeing the operations or our core platform, and the associated team.
  • Oversee the technical roll out and onboarding of new partners
  • Maintain visibility into personnel work loads and processes to foster a productive work environment. Manage the tactful allocation and prioritization of resources to bolster the company's success. Plan resource allocation to meet operational deadlines and goals.
  • Harness strong judgment, knowledge, and problem-solving to supervise daily operations.
  • Document and implement operational policies and procedures for efficient operations.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations, policies, and standards.
  • Monitor employee and team performance, offering coaching, mentoring, and feedback for improvement.
  • Monitor operating exceptions, and quickly and accurately identify root causes, address any remediations required immediately and move to ensure that processes are implemented to avoid recurrence.
  • Effectively partner with our Customer Service and Partner service teams to enhance customer service quality and satisfaction. Maintain clear, detailed and accurate communications within the team and across functions (Partner services, compliance, finance, customer support) to support the business.
  • Implement quality assurance measures for roll out and testing of products/services and monitor operations KPIs. Analyze data to identify process improvement opportunities and cost savings.
  • Optimize workflows and processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Integrate new technologies and business processes as needed.


Qualifications:


  • Strong systems user. Quick to learn complex and specialized digital platforms. Willingness to dedicate time and focus to gaining expertise in our core systems, to document and train others and to maintain operating standards to keep the system functioning at peak performance.
  • Detail oriented in following processes, identifying and actioning exceptions, and overseeing and checking the work of others.
  • Knowledge of basic double entry accounting and ledgering.
  • Highly numerate with the ability to discern indicative trends, deviations from expected performance and relationships between values and the operating trends they represent.
  • Able to read and interpret specification documents into accurate and detailed execution steps and identify and communicate dependencies, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong excel skills. SQL is a plus.
  • Basic HTML capabilities and knowledge of enterprise email platforms are desirable but not required.
  • Familiarity with the health insurance and health services industry preferred.
  • Strong time management skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines, and juggling competing priorities. Effective collaborator who can mobilize teams to divide and conquer to get tasks completed accurately under time pressures. Commitment to seeing projects through to completion with an eye to post-launch monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • 5+ years of operations experience.
  • Experience in supervisory roles providing guidance to junior team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
