  • Work w/ CM, local suppliers, and US team on test infrastructure development, installation, and support. Own manufacturing test infrastructure (functional test, temperature/burn-in, ESS). Work with design and diagnostic teams to define test processes in the manufacturing sites.
  • Work with contract manufacturers and test fixture suppliers to define, develop, procure, and install test equipment well in testing lines.
  • Analyze end-to-end manufacturing capacity and work with the operations team for future planning
  • Analyze manufacturing yields during NPI and Mass production, and work with the Engineering team in the US to improve yield to expectations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners on developing CM's ability to prototype, launch, and transition to volume production
  • Work with factory and engineering teams to troubleshoot failures
  • Be the “first line of defense” for manufacturing and test issues
  • Participate in / help to define manufacturing processes (NPI, product engineering, validation, quality)
  • Collaborate with the test engineering team to resolve test issues + maintain yields
  • Collaborate with the test engineering team to develop a test platform/software
  • Work with factory and quality teams to execute initial and ongoing reliability testing
  • Collaborate with the quality team and drive the factory to resolve quality issues

Basic Qualifications

  • 15+ years in manufacturing/test/product engineering
  • 10+ years of management experience
  • Strong academic and technical background in electrical engineering or electronic manufacturing. A bachelor’s in EE or equivalent experience is required.
  • Entrepreneurial, open-minded behavior, and can-do attitude. Think and act with the customer in mind
  • Able to travel to CM as needed.
