The Director at our manufacturing site has overall accountability for and all aspects of operations at Elanco’s Santa Clara, MEX facility to ensure the site reliably supplies high quality products, safely, to meet the needs of our customers. The Director reports to the Senior Vice President and has leadership responsibility of the site leadership team. This position is a member of the Network’s senior leadership team and collaborates closely with the manufacturing leaders within the network as well as cross-functionally.The incumbent of this position has a high technical and business knowledge of all aspects of operations (manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, compliance, supporting R&D, animal service) in order to successfully ensure that Operations carries out its mission as part of Elanco manufacturing operations worldwide. Responsibilities:

Implement the Elanco Manufacturing mission to manufacture and reliably supply products with safety and quality at a competitive cost in an environment that drives employee engagement and an inclusive culture. Establish and maintain management processes and systems to ensure that manufacturing processes are in control, capable and compliant with all applicable regulatory/compliance requirements and Elanco Corporate governance systems. Lead an effective succession planning process for key technical and management leader positions with a focus on development of the site’s technical, management and leadership skills. Build a strong quality culture at site. Identify and monitor effective implementation and continuous improvement on the quality systems and metrics. Responsible for site business planning, long range planning, business continuity plans, and business development and ensures the site meets or exceeds financial commitments. Strong focus on customer service delivering the supply chain metrics at or above expectation agreed for the year plan (including OTIF). Ensure that the site effectively implements and uses Lean Six Sigma tools as part of the continuous improvement culture. Deliver launch plans for new product introductions in alignment with business objectives and regulatory timelines. Build and maintain strong ties across the Elanco Manufacturing Network with the goal of implementing consistent business/quality processes around the world. Represent Elanco in the community in support of our company values and vision Effective implementation of quality, safety, environmental, and business plans. Manage appropriate resource allocation, capacity and prioritization Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline or engineering 10+ years of experience in a complex operation within manufacturing that may include Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Technical Services, Regulatory Affairs, Product Affairs, Product Development, and business areas. Fluency in Spanish and English is required. Demonstrated skills in creating alignment, fostering change and developing a strategic plan Demonstrated independent decision-making based on sound technical and financial data. Demonstrate Problem Solving experience identifying and understand issues, problems, and opportunities. Demonstrated ability to communicate, including excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.
