Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to provide technical assistance and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Help Desk Analyst will be responsible for resolving technical issues, troubleshooting problems, and assisting users with software and hardware inquiries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Document all support interactions, including the nature of the problem and the resolution, in our ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT personnel or support teams for further investigation and resolution.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and peripheral devices.
  • Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to identify recurring issues and develop solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments to enhance technical knowledge and skills.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role or similar position.
  • Strong understanding of IT principles, including networking, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus.
