The hours for this position is Monday-Friday 9:00am - 5:00 pm. In person. Full Time. 35 Hours a week. Position will report to the QSAC Corporate Office in Manhattan.

Salary Range for this position is 42K - 46K. Salary is based on Education and Experience.

Job Description:

The Early Childhood Administrator is responsible for the daily administration of Early Intervention, SEIT, SETSS and CPSE Evaluation Programs.

RECRUITING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the recruitment of staff and completion of employment paperwork.
  • Ensure that staff has current & accurate information on file in accordance with local and state regulations as well as QSAC
  • regulations, including, but not limited to: NYS Student’s with Disabilities certification/Registration of Certificate, Criminal
  • Background Clearance, Annual Medicals, Biennial Child Abuse Seminar and State Central Registry Clearance, Liability
  • Insurance (evaluators only), etc.
  • Coordinate in-home teacher/student schedules; maintain accurate attendance records.
  • Track and record staff time sheets, check against the call-in system (TSM) and submit for payroll.
  • Review EI Session Notes, create schedules and submit for billing.
  • Confirm monthly family training meetings with staff and inform EI Service Coordinators.
  • Coordinate SEIT services with related service providers.
  • Review SETSS approvals and authorizations for accuracy.
  • Assist in obtaining monthly SETSS invoices from families.
  • Review evaluation reports, create evaluation summary and submit documentation to district for CPSE evaluations.
  • Process all relevant forms for programs (e.g., PSAL, first attends, admissions/discharges, IFSPs, IEPs, intake forms,
  • evaluations, etc.)
  • Do periodic reviews/internal audit of files to ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Review/maintain service documentation, including student attendance, to ensure accuracy and support billing.
  • Maintain communication with program staff to ensure documentation compliance.
  • Assist in the recruitment of staff and completion of employment paperwork for SEIT/SETSS/EI/Evaluations.
  • Maintain communication with Districts, EIOD’s, and other providers as well as other QSAC departments.
  • Provide outreach to potential participants. Process and follow-up with intake and referrals of children into the program.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance is expected.
  • Maintain student/family confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clearance through state mandated Background/Fingerprint Check(s).
  • Administrative experience and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with NYCDOE and/or Early Intervention preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or substantial related experience.
  • Must be able to work under stringent timeframes, meet deadlines, and have good time-management skills.
  • Organized, detail oriented, and excellent follow up skills.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
