QA POS Automation Engineer for Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX for a 12-month Contract.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and perform manual and automation test work


Skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience with Selenium using Java - mandatory
  • 7 + years’ QA experience with manual and automation - mandatory
  • Prior Point of Sale (POS) experience-mandatory
  • API Automation experience -mandatory
  • Mobile application automation development experience-preferred
  • Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong experience developing and implementing test plans & test cases.
  • Strong experience performing manual testing
  • Strong experience implementing QA process and methodologies
  • Retail or Online Store background
  • Good team and people skills
  • Able to host status meeting and ad hoc working sessions
  • Able to work independently under pressure and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams to build and deliver a project.
  • Able to collaborate with business partners, developers, and various support teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues.
  • Able to coordinate end to end validation with various backend systems and vendors
