About the Role The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the successful review and validation of completed technical tasks within active projects in coordination with the project teams they are assigned.

Candidates should be meticulous and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background coupled with a passion for ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital products. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of our software solutions through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities Follow Camber Creative standards and processes, and ensure proper adherence to these across all products Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, strategies, and methodologies for various digital products, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Test Case Development: Design, develop, and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications. Test Execution: Execute test cases manually and with automated testing tools to identify defects, regressions, and performance issues across different platforms and devices. Defect Management: Document and track defects, issues, and enhancement requests using issue-tracking systems, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to validate the functionality, usability, and reliability of software products. Continuous Improvement: Participate in the refinement of QA processes, standards, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team. Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate test results, provide feedback, and contribute to product improvements. Automation: Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and other QA-related artifacts. Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to junior QA team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth and development. Participate in client and internal meetings, pairing with technical stakeholders, and understand the business value and user value behind all client product development Craft approaches, document requirements, and estimate or validate the level of effort against proposed product scopes and approaches Deliver against established production metrics (billable targets, forecasting accuracy, etc.) Serve as the initial point of contact for testing and validation questions, facilitate understanding of limits or risks of certain approaches, provide sophisticated but simple “MVP” oriented solutions to complex problems Solve complex problems in simple ways Respond directly to customers courteously and clearly Solve client challenges with understanding and empathy Test solutions across multiple browsers and platforms in a local testing environment Assist in the remediation, enhancement, and maintenance of client sites Exhibit ownership of approach and results based upon a deeper understanding of customer goals and KPI’s

Minimum Qualifications At least five years of experience in Quality Assurance testing. Comfortable with Drupal, WordPress, Mobile Apps a plus Effective and professional communication skills Ability to communicate professionally with technical and non-technical colleagues and customers Being collaborative, self-motivated, and an "always-learning" person, excited to create great web experiences Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in software quality assurance, testing methodologies, and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar. Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. ISTQB or similar QA certifications are a plus.
