Maintenance Supervisor

Our firm is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor for one of our growing automotive clients

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Ensure safety rules are followed by direct reports and others
• Direct and supervise Team Leaders and Maintenance Technicians in day-to-day assignments
• Coordinate preventative maintenance plans
• Coordinate and monitor outside contractors
• Coordinate progression levels through skill blocks
• Process direct report timecards in HRIS system
• Review work performance and attendance issues
• Review maintenance work orders as close as needed
• Coach and counsel direct reports as required
• Act as first responder for emergency contingency plan
• Assist in corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment
• Assist in union labor relations in applicable plants

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required
• BS or AS degree in a technical field from accredited college or technical school preferred
• 5 years of experience in industrial multi-craft maintenance required
• Knowledge of industrial plant utility systems, furnace operation, and automated systems
• Good verbal/written communication and troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, shop tools, PIV, and general office equipment.
• Must be able to produce accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license required for business travel.
• Union Experience
• Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required as workload or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays
