Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operation of self-propelled walk mowers to cut greens, tees and aprons, along with completing divot repairs and sweeping dew and grass clippings
  • Assist in the weekly grounds maintenance by string trimming and push mowing around trees, shrubbery, cart paths, fences, irrigation heads and valve boxes
  • Maintain bunkers by fly mowing bunker faces along with edging and raking of the bunkers
  • Perform drainage and irrigation projects while utilizing a variety of hand tools for digging and removing rock
  • May be asked to operate mowers, light equipment, tractors, backhoe and dump truck
  • Maintain fluid and fuel levels in all equipment operated on a daily basis and report any issues to equipment manager immediately
  • Clean equipment on a daily basis and return it to the proper area for storage
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of methods and materials used in grounds and landscape maintenance
  • Working knowledge of, and ability to use, hand tools and equipment
  • Property knowledge
  • Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, other employees, members and guests of the Club
  • Possess a valid PA state driver's license
  • Ability to work 40 hours Monday through Friday, and every other weekend mornings
