Our client is in a state of growth and has an immediate opening for a Senior Buyer/ Planner
Responsible for purchasing, material requirement planning, supplier relationship management and product life cycle management from supply chain perspective
Successful candidates will be able to decide based on ERP needs to purchase materials at the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity, delivery, and other factors
We are searching for a dynamic scheduler utilizing the new scheduling techniques to meet customer demands in a timely manner while mitigating risks associated with supply chain in terms of quality and timeliness

Required Skills:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree with 5 years planning/ purchasing experience in manufacturing environment or 10 years with AA degree
• Microsoft Office proficiency, advanced Excel skills
• Must have a deep understanding of MRP concepts and supply chain management.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make suggestions based upon the analysis.

Preferred:

• Proficiency in MRP (AS4000 preferred).
• Previous planning/scheduling experience preferred.
